The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Hunaiti, received in his office at the General Command on Thursday, the commander of the US Central Command, General Kenneth Mackenzie and his accompanying delegation.
The guest received an official military reception, where he reviewed the guard of honor, which lined up to greet him.
Major General Al-Hunaiti discussed with the guest the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, aspects of joint military cooperation and coordination, and ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation to serve the interests of the two armed forces. On the sidelines of the visit, Lieutenant General Mackenzie attended the conclusion of the 2019 Lion Training in one of the training fields.
