نبض البلد -
The Moroccan Central Bureau of Judicial Research announced Thursday the dismantling of a terrorist cell loyal to the Islamic State (IS), a group of five extremists aged between 27 and 41, operating between the cities of Berkane and Nador.
According to a statement by the Interior Ministry published by MAP, the operation took place in response to terrorist threats and resulted in the seizure of electronic devices and white weapons. He explained that the cell members planned to join the camps of one of the organization's branches in the Sahel sub-Saharan region, before they decided to engage in the implementation of terrorist operations targeting sensitive sites in the Kingdom.
The statement said that the suspects will be brought to justice immediately after the search, which is conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution.
